I am going to be switching blogs because I want to be able to like, follow and message people, but I can’t do that on a secondary blog, so I am going to be “battleofthefandoms.tumblr.com” I am going to transfer EVERYTHING to that blog to make it look exactly the same except for the URL name and my followers. The sleep, they both need. Desperately, given the circumstances they’re living in and the vigorous missions they’re being sent on. But the nightmares, they could both do without.
He dreams of fire and ashes, of going from having a tight grasp on her hand and a steady view of her whereabouts to having no idea where she is. He runs until he can catch a sight of her red hair or hear her voice- sometimes he runs for what feels like hours, until he can barely breathe. And then he finally finds her, and his oxygen is once again short-lived. Because there she is, his name barely leaving her lips before she’s hit by the curse and falling. He falls with her, his scream tearing his whole body apart.
She dreams of darkness and silence, of the quiet by overwhelming sense of panic she feels when she realises that something has gone wrong, so hideously wrong that it tears her apart. Because this is War, this was always going to happen- but still she cannot bear the thought of who has died this time. She’s heard the curse, she can sense the body nearby, silent and unmoving. And then she’s kneeling down and whispering ‘lumos’, only to find it’s him, his eyes empty and his hands cold. She clings to his chest until she’s dragged into further darkness.
She often awakes to him thrashing and moaning in his sleep, yelling out in anguish at horrors she cannot see. She murmurs his name until he awakes, and once he’s established that the nightmare wasn’t real, that she remains alive and beside him, he clings to her until he feels that he can breathe again.
He awakes to find her curled up into a ball on her side of the bed, biting down onto her clenched fist and almost drawing blood as she tries to hold back sobs. She doesn’t wake him up when she has nightmares, but he wishes she did. Because he feels her pain at the same time, and holds her until they both fall asleep wrapped in eachother’s arms.
The nightmares are horrifying, but it also gives them time for gratitude when they awake; for now, they are alive.

2. How did you find out about this pairing?
- First I shipped Sev and Lily because of “The Prince’s Tale,” but then I decided to read a James and Lily fic and fell in love with their love.
3. What’s the first fanfiction you ever read?
- Um, it was on unknowableroom.org, but something happened to the site and I can’t remember the name!! fml. It was about Lily with Vince Malfoy and he wanted to have sex with her, only she was a virgin and he didn’t know. So she asks James for help with her issue over the winter holidays…. anyone know it or knows where to find it?
4. What are your two favourite clichés/themes?
- Sweet, romantic, where they are both innocent and lose their virginities to each other because they are the only ones they want to be with.

- Oh, wow, I don’t know. Uh, Boyfriend by Molly Raesly, All Part of the Plan by BadgerInMySoup, James and the Baby Sitter by LilyHeartsJames, Kiss and Tell by SunshineDaisysWindmills, Petal in the Rain (AU, more tragedy and forbidden love story) by pratty-prongs-princesse, She Will Be Loved by ThePen23, Summer Magic by movinggirl. There are so many more, but it would take so long.
6. What’s your least favourite cliché and why?
- When James is portrayed as a huge asshole and a player. PLUS (obviously) when he cheats on her. It makes me so angry.
7. Do you prefer Hogwarts Era fictions or Post Hogwarts ones?
- Hogwarts Era (and sometimes AU depending on the story)
8. Is Limes/Jily your OTP in the HP fandom? Has it always been or did you prefer another pairing before? What made you change idea?
- My one and only HP OTP. Like I said, I got into the Severus/Lily ship before because of “The Prince’s Tale” in the Deathly Hallows Part 2 seeing how sad and depressing their “relationship” was. But then I started reading James and Lily so that made me quit shipping Severus/Lily. But that doesn’t mean I hate him like most other Jily shippers
10. Do you wish there was more information Limes/Jily in the books?
- Oh, definitely. I want to know what really happened between the two.
